Tourists and locals alike say White Lake offers a place for relaxation, tasty treats, and beautiful scenery. Lodging businesses at the lake can only offer fifty percent of their capacity due to the North Carolina’s Coronavirus (COVID-19) Task Force guidelines. People continue to draw near to the popular place.
Many other businesses are open as well offering food and entertainment. This weekend many were on the white sand of the lake resting and enjoying the day. Others were playing putt-putt and eating ice cream.
Camp Clearwater campers were grilling out, kids were playing, farmers offered produce, and Sunset Slush was selling cool refreshments.
The famous lake continues to be the summer vacation spot for many across the nation and the sunsets are admired around the world.

The first report published said the kids were playing in the arcade. That was incorrect. The arcade is closed at Camp Clearwater.
