1. Bladen County Commissioners Meeting: Tuesday, 6:30 p.m., Commissioners’ Room located on the lower level of the courthouse in Elizabethtown.
2. Fun Day: Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Bladenboro Historical Building, 818 S. Main Street, Bladenboro. Bounce houses, vendors, concessions, tours and more. Proceeds help support Bladenboro Historical Society.
3. Popcorn & A Movie: Sept. 18, 4 p.m., Bladen County Public Library, 111 North Cypress Street, Elizabethtown. “A Man Called Otto” is based on the 2012 book “A Man Called Ove” by Fredrick Bachman. Information: 910-862-6990.
