1. High School Basketball: Today. It’s Hoop Night in Bladen. West Bladen hosts Clinton and East Bladen is home against Midway in Southeastern Athletic Conference games. JV boys open at 4:30 p.m. followed by varsity girls about 6 and varsity boys about 7:30.
2. Adult Spelling Bee: Today, 7 p.m., Bladen Community College auditorium. Admission is $5. Sponsored by Bladen County Education Foundation. Teams represented by Bladen County schools and community. Information: Dia Thomas at 910-876-2211.
