One of the most successful charity golf tournaments in North Carolina is scheduled for Vineyard Golf at White Lake on April 25th with a rain date of May 2nd. The Byron Gooden Bladen We Care Golf Tournament, a 4-man Captain’s Choice event, features a two tournament format. The first tournament will start at 8:30 a.m. and the second tournament at 1 p.m.

The tournament usually features thirty 4-man teams in the morning and a similar number of teams will play in the afternoon. Each tournament will pay three places in each flight. The cost to enter will be $600 a team with individuals at $150 each. Individuals may enter and be assigned to a team.

In the past 30 years, Bladen We Care has raised over $2 million for needy healthcare in Bladen County.
