September has arrived. To start the month off, a three year old male pit mix, named Oatmeal, was dubbed Pet of the Week. He’s a very friendly dog that also gets along with other dogs.
Oatmeal absolutely loves giving hugs according to the local shelter staff! He even likes kids and will make the perfect family addition to yours the staff added.
The cost to adopt a dog is $50 and the fee is $40 to adopt a cat. The fees include the animal’s first required shots. Adoption hours at the shelter are Monday to Friday at 12 noon until 5 p.m.
