There will be plenty for Bladen County residents to do this weekend.
This Saturday the Baldwin Branch Missionary Baptist Church will be having a food pantry, from His Table to Yours, opening from 10 a.m. until noon and a clothes closet from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. No fee is required while personal transportation and identifications are required.
Saturday evening, the White Oak Community Building will be the location for a barbecue chicken plate fundraiser from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. for Sandy Hunsinger. All proceeds will be going to benefit her recovery. The cost per plate is $9 and all fixings will be included. For more information call Caroline Rising at 910-874-1285.
