BLADENBORO – Fairmont defeated West Bladen 2-0 Wednesday night in Three Rivers Conference jayvee volleyball action by set scores of 25-23 and 25-16.
Freshman Lauren Pait led the Lady Knights with 9 digs, 3 aces and 2 service points. Freshman Hannah Pait hammered in 5 kills and a service point. Taylor West drilled in an ace and 5 service points.
Ashlyn Cox knocked in 3 service points and 2 aces for West. Olivia Allen was credited with 3 digs. Caroline Brisson and Kylee Ward fired in one service point each, and Savannah Turbeville and Alyssa Suggs hammered in one kill each.
The Lady Knights will travel to Red Springs for their final regular season game Thursday.
