TAR HEEL – Nakina defeated Tar Heel 52-18 Tuesday night in Waccamaw Middle School Conference boys basketball action.
The Mustangs built a 14-9 first period lead and widened the gap to 26-13 at halftime.
Kearean Ballard led the Panther scoring with 9 points. Ikeir Murchison followed with 5 points, and Jordan Underwood finished with 4 points.
The Panthers, now 2-7, will travel to Elizabethtown Tuesday.
