East Bladen grad Kyle Tatum has played a key role in Brunswick Community College’s perfect 11-0 start to the college baseball season.

Tatum opened the season with a pair of 2-4 performances that included a double, a run batted in and 2 runs scored in wins of 6-2 and 9-6 over the East Carolina Club team.

In wins of 11-6 and 16-0 over Anne Arundel Community College, Tatum drove in 4 runs, scored 4 runs and hammered a triple. Sunday the sophmore leftfielder batted 2-4 with an rbi in an 8-4 victory over Lenoir Community College.

Thru Tuesday Tatum is batting .290 with 9 runs scored, 6 rbi’s, a double, a triple and a .387 slugging percentage. He has also stolen four bases.
