GREENSBORO – West Bladen junior Andrew AJ Brown finished 13th in the long jump at the NCHSAA Class 2A Track & Field Meet on Friday at North Carolina A&T State University. Brown leaped 19 feet, 8.5 inches in the meet final.
Two more Knight juniors competed at the state meet, but didn’t reach their event finals. Tyre Boykin ran the 100 meter preliminary in 11.44 seconds, and Davian Willis-Howard was clocked in 15.97 seconds in the 110 meter hurdle preliminary.
