LAKE WACCAMAW- West Bladen’s unbeaten Lady Knights posted their fourth straight volleyball victory Thursday with a 3-0 Three Rivers Conference victory over East Columbus by set scores of 25-23, 25-10 and 25-11.
Junior Sidnee Walters fired in 8 aces, 8 service points, 3 kills and had 2 assists and 2 digs for the winners. Senior Lexi Corrothers hammered in 9 kills, 5 aces, 8 service points and added 5 digs.
Senior Jordan Benson sparked the Lady Knight defense with 21 digs. Ashlyn Cox racked up 12 service points, 3 kills, an ace and dished out 6 assists. Amelia Brisson knocked in 5 kills and an ace.
Senior Mikayla Meadows slammed in 4 kills, 3 aces, 9 service points and had 3 assists. Junior Shelby Pharr pounded in 2 kills and 3 service points. Taylor West added a kill.
Coach Gaye Davis’ Lady Knights improved to 2-0 in the league and 4-0 overall and will host Whiteville on Thursday.
