BLADENBORO – West Bladen rolled to a 3-0 Three Rivers Conference volleyball victory over Red Springs on Thursday by set scores of 25-14, 25-15 and 25-16.
Junior Sidnee Walters blasted in 13 kills, 4 service points, an ace and collected 6 assists and 2 digs for the winners. Senior Mikayla Meadows drilled in 13 kills, 5 aces, 2 solo blocks, a service point and had 4 digs.
Junior Ashlyn Cox filled up the stat sheet for the Lady Knights with 12 assists, 10 service points, 4 aces, 3 kills and 3 digs. Senior Jordan Benson racked up 10 digs. Junior Shelby Pharr slammed in 4 kills, 4 service points, 2 aces and had 3 digs.
Senior Lexi Corrothers drilled in 3 aces, 4 service points, 2 kills and had one dig for West Bladen. Junior Amelia Brisson knocked in 2 service points, a kill and had 3 digs. Junior Taylor West finished with 3 digs, an assist and a service point.
Coach Gaye Davis’ Lady Knights improved to 6-4 in the conference and 8-4 overall and will host East Columbus on Tuesday night.
