Three Bladen County Recreation All-Star Soccer teams will play in the StateWide Activities Committee (SWAC) State Tournaments beginning Saturday at the Bryan Multi-Sports Complex in Goldsboro.
10U Girls
Members of the Bladen 10U Girls All-Stars are: Tatum Allen, Alejandra Ventura, Greer Pope, Ellie Kinlaw, Marlee Potter, Julianne DeVane, Julia Flowers, Vera Valentiner, Bristol Allen, Isabella Beard, Hadley Dove, and Mollie Sasser. Head Coach is Mike Potter. Assistant Coaches are Stanley Sasser and David Allen.
The 10U Girls All-Stars begin play Saturday at 10:15 a.m. against Nash County and will play Wilson at 12:45 p.m. and Holly Springs at 3:15 p.m. Seven teams are in the 10U Girls tournament and pool play will begin on Sunday.
10U Boys
Members of the Bladen 10U Boys All-Stars are: Easton Bostic, Samuel Cruz, Wilson Clifton, Walker Clifton, JaDarius McArthur, Alejandro Lopez, Seth Faircloth, Damian Sanchez, Tyler Eason, Jaylen Smith, Fox Sutton, and Levi Garcia. Head Coach is Johnny Wilson. Assistant Coaches are Kyle Bostic and Simon Hernandez.
The 10U Boys All-Stars begin play Saturday at 10:15 against South Granville. Their other Saturday games are at 3:15 p.m. against Tarboro and at 5 p.m. against Fuquay-Varina. Ten teams are in the 10U Boys tournament with the finals scheduled for Sunday.
14U CoEd
Members of the Bladen 14 CoEd All-Stars are: Spencer Padrick, Heidi Ventura, Britt Sasser, Blaine Pope, Cooper Padrick, Conner Padrick, Fernando Rebollar-Chavez, Christopher Labra, Garrett Dunham, Chace Butler, Alex Izquierdo-Hidalgo, Cade Allen, Kevyn Delacruz Labra, Shandell Gonzales, Jakelina Medina, Ella Campbell, Aiden Russ and Gabriela Ventura. Head Coach is Stanley Sasser. Assistant Coaches are Jerry Padrick and Jennifer Campbell.
The 14U CoEd All-Stars begin play Saturday at 9 a.m. against Pleasant Garden then play Nash County at 12:30 p.m. Eight teams are in the tournament with the finals scheduled for Sunday.
