West Bladen’s Autumn Brisson, Alyssa Bell and Alyssa Smith and East Bladen’s Lilly Lin and Alyssa Futrell have all been named to the All-Three Rivers Conference Girls Tennis Team.

Lady Knight Coach Billy Bryant was also named Three Rivers Coach of the Year after his West Bladen team won the league championship with an 8-0 league record and 11-3 overall mark. It was the second straight league title for Bryant’s Lady Knights who have posted a 24-0 conference record and 27-4 overall mark over the last 2 seasons.

The senior doubles team of Bell (right) and Brisson (pictured above) won the Three Rivers doubles championship and finished with a 16-1 doubles record after losing in the 2nd round of the MidEast Regionals. Bell was 11-3 on the season in singles, and Brisson posted an 8-6 singles record.

Smith was the runner-up in the Three Rivers Conference tournament, reached the second round of the regionals and posted an 18-4 singles record. The senior was 11-1 in doubles play.

Juniors Lin and Futrell reached the second round of regional play in doubles and recorded a 7-8 doubles record. Lin posted a 5-5 record at No. 1 singles for the Lady Eagles, and Futrell had a 3-7 record at No. 2 singles.

Receiving Honorable Mention from West Bladen were: junior Marley Fletcher (10-4 record in singles, 11-6 in doubles); sophmore Courtney Hester (8-6 in singles, 5-5 in doubles); senior Elizabeth West (6-5 in singles, 1-0 in doubles); freshman Kaden Thurman (8-1 in doubles, 1-1 in singles).

Honorable Mention nominees from East Bladen were: sophmore Heather Hardin (9-1 in singles, 9-7 in doubles – reached 2nd round of regionals); sophmore Jayden Willington (8-2 in singles); senior Gracyn Martin (4-6 in singles, 4-6 doubles).
