We are big on sending Christmas cards … have kept a record of those sent over the past many year … had them in a folder. I misplaced the folder … Searched high and low, no folder … so began from scratch … a disaster. If you usually receive a Christmas card from this set of Hesters’ but have not received one this year … I am most likely the guilty one. … Sorry, maybe next year.
Saw a post on Facebook from a younger male who I knew as a youngster. … He went off to school and never came back to live. He resides in the mountains of NC, and he and I are friends on Facebook. This A.M. he said he de-friended someone that he disagreed with on politics, then decided he was wrong … and I agree. Disagree all you want to, but listen to others and try to understand where they are coming from. We must listen to each other … disagreeing is OK, if you don’t take it personal. I know of no one I agree with all the time, on anything. Bet my bride would attest to that statement.
My two sons and grandson have picked winners and losers in NFL games for 10 year or more, I guess. It is competitive, winner has bragging rights, no money passed. … This year, as of the 16th week, with one week remaining, three are tied with identical record of 149-88 and the other is 150-87. Competition will be fierce this weekend. … Will be some trash-talking at the Christmas gathering tomorrow.
