Brandon Smith with the County of Bladen announces the temporary closure of the Wards Convenience Site at 370 N. C. Highway 53 West from May 2 to May 15, 2024, due to renovations. During this period, Bladen County Solid Waste advises that residents use alternative disposal sites for household items. Available sites include the Transfer Station at 1522 Mercer Mill Road, Elizabethtown; the Live Oak site at 13763 N. C. Highway 53 West, White Oak; and the Bay Tree site at 10431 N. C. Highway 41 East, Harrells. The County of Bladen appreciates your cooperation and apologizes for any inconvenience during this upgrade phase.
