Covid-19 continues to wreak havoc on Three Rivers Conference athletics as St. Pauls and West Columbus have joined the list of football teams who have been put on an athletic pause.
The coronavirus also completely eliminated the TRC from the NCHSAA State Basketball Playoffs. St. Pauls’ girls and boys had to forfeit Thursday’s 2nd round games due to Covid protocols.
West Columbus’ boys forfeited a 2nd round home game Thursday. Whiteville’s girls had to forfeit their 1st round playoff game Tuesday night. The Red Springs boys were the only TRC team to lose on the court 68-50 to Reidsville Tuesday night.
