Robert Hester, Founder of BladenOnline.comToday is primary election day … time to cut the numbers down on the Democratic and Republican ballot … winners advance to the November election. Early voting numbers indicate about 11% of eligible voters in the county have voted … nearly 2,500 ballots were cast during that time.

Voting sites in all 17 precincts are open today … polls opened at 6:30 a.m. and close at 7:30 p.m.

If you don’t vote, you should not complain about the results … plain talk…

Bladen County man wins $1 million, purchased the lucky $30 ticket at Community Mart in E-town … Won a million, receives a lump sum payment of $426,069 … No one would turn that down, but dang … the real winner is state and feds … Taxes, taxes, taxes … Congratulations to James Perkins of Elizabethtown…

Water Festival this weekend at White Lake … a huge weekend … fun for all…
