GREENSBORO – East Bladen’s Jamie Delgado was a member of the East All-Stars who defeated the West 3-2 in Tuesday night’s North Carolina Coaches Association East-West All-Star game at Grimsley Stadium.
Delgado (number 2 pictured above) saw time at holding midfielder and forward in the game. “Jamie had a few good sequences on the ball that led to shots,” said East Bladen Coach Jay Raynor. “He started a great 5-pass attacking sequence late in the first half. He had several tackles deep to stop West attacks.”
Chapel Hill’s Adam Trusky scored the tying goal for the East then assisted on the final East goal to claim Most Valuable Player honors.
