Five different players scored goals as unbeaten Clinton topped West Bladen 5-1 on Wednesday in a Four County 1A/2A Conference boys soccer match played on the Knights’ field.
Andrew Warren and Tristen Holloman scored goals in the first half for Clinton. The Dark Horses added goals from Nick Brewen and Ivan Ponce within the first five minutes of the second half to open a 4-0 lead.
Emerson Escobar scored for West Bladen with 26 minutes remaining that made it 4-1. Clinton’s final goal was scored by Donald Blue.
Clinton is 20-0-1 overall and 11-0 in the conference.
West Bladen is 4-14-2 overall and 1-11 in the conference. The Knights close out their season next week, playing at Midway on Monday, then hosting rival East Bladen for Senior Night on Wednesday.
