East Columbus rallied in the closing minutes to edge East Bladen 61-59 Tuesday night in non-conference boys basketball action.

Coach Kenzil McCall’s Eagles led for most of the game, but lost 3 players to fouls in the game.

Demetrius Wooten lit up the scoreboard with 27 points to lead the Eagle scoring. Guard Denzel Johnson fired in 20 points.

Deondre Harris worked the paint for 9 points and 10 rebounds before fouling out.  Sadrique Ingram and Joshua McKoy were also lost to fouls in the game.

The Eagles will travel to Cape Fear Tuesday night.
