TEACHEY – Freshman Colby White struck out ten batters and pitched West Bladen to a 6-2 Four County Conference jayvee baseball victory Tuesday over Wallace-Rose Hill.
“Colby pitched outstanding,” said West Bladen Coach Todd Pait. “And I really have to give it to Coach Brandon Carson for picking the team up and putting us back on the winning track.”
Sophmore Jeremy Pait batted a perfect 3-3 to lead the West Bladen hitters. Sophmore Dalton Pait finished with 3 hits in 4 at-bats, and freshman Nolan Bryant batted 2-3.
The Knights improved to 3-4 in league play and 7-5 overall. West Bladen will host Heide Trask Friday at 4 p.m.
