Saturday, November 25, 2023 – SHOP LOCAL SATURDAY
Kicking off the Christmas season, “Shop Local Saturday” on November 25th encourages everyone to support local businesses and artisans. The Farmers’ Market will host a variety of local vendors offering an enticing selection of products. From handmade crafts to delectable treats, you’ll find the perfect holiday gifts and treats. And as a bonus, there will be live performances by talented local artists, adding a touch of musical magic to the day.
Saturday, December 2, 2023 – SANTA PAWS & CLAWS
On December 2nd, the Farmers’ Market transforms into a winter wonderland for pets and their owners during “Santa Paws & Claws.” From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Santa Claus himself will be available for pictures with your furry friends. For those looking to expand their fur family, there will be a mini-adoption event featuring shelter pets in need of loving homes. Additionally, pet micro-chipping services will be offered, enhancing the safety of your beloved companions. The Barking Lot will provide complimentary nail trimmings for your four-legged pals. And don’t forget the Ugly Sweater Pet Costume Look-Alike Contest registration from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. It’s a day of festive fun for pets and their human companions.
Saturday, December 9, 2023 – ALL ABOUT THE KIDS
December 9th is all about the little ones during “All About the Kids.” The Farmers’ Market will be abuzz with activities designed to bring smiles to children’s faces. Elf Story Hour, a magical show, cookie decorating, ornament making, and Kid’s Open Mic Christmas Caroling, will provide endless entertainment from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. It’s a day of pure joy and enchantment for kids of all ages.
Saturday, December 16, 2023 – BLADEN CHRISTMAS MARKETPLACE
The holiday festivities culminate on December 16th with the “Bladen Christmas Marketplace.” From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., visitors can explore a wide range of displays and information, including how to create a local gift basket, discover locally made holiday drinks, and meet local food-related vendors. It’s the perfect opportunity to find unique and meaningful gifts for loved ones.
