Thirty players participated in the August 3 nine hole Thundering Herd tournament at Vineyard Golf At White Lake. When the dust cleared the winning team of Blake Davis, Patrick Maitland, Jimmy Daniels, River Robinson and Jonathan Gooden shot eight under par to take first place.
In second place, with seven under par, was Mike Chuchacz, Brad Lee, Jessica Wood, Jake Suggs and Stephen Clark.
The Thundering Herd tournament is played every Thursday at 6 p.m. If you would like to participate call the pro shop at 910-247-6134 before 5 p.m. The cost to play is $20.
