The Bladen County Board of Commissioners are expected Tuesday to consider appointing Robby Priest to fill the unexpired term of his father during its scheduled meeting.
Russell Priest, who represented District 3, died July 30. The Bladen County Democratic Party recommended Robby Priest to replace his father on the board.
The meeting was moved from its usual Monday slot because of the Labor Day holiday. Tuesday’s meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. and be held in the Superior Courtroom, which is located on the second floor of the Bladen County Courthouse in Elizabethtown. The meeting, which is open to the public, also can be accessed by phone by called 571-317-3122 with access code 377-006-581.
