If you are looking for something to do this weekend, why not try the Casino Night at the Cape Fear Vineyard and Winery on Saturday, Feb. 9. The event is presented by the Bladen County Committee of 100.

“If you are looking for something fun to do, come on out,” said Chuck Heustess.

Heustess said Bladen’s Bloomin’ Agri-Industrial and the Committee of 100 have teamed up to host the fundraiser called “Casino Night.” Doors will open to the public at 7 p.m. and games will begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $50 each.

Heustess said there will be black jack tables, Roulette games, one table of Texas Hold’em and a craps table. The way the event works is you will exchange your tickets for poker chips that are used to play the games. At 10:30 p.m. the games will close and you will exchange the poker chips you have earned playing the games for raffle tickets for prizes from local merchants.

He said in addition to having fun playing the games, there will be opportunities to learn about the Committee of 100 and economic development in Bladen County.

This is an opportunity for Bladen County residents to come out and show their support for economic development in the county.
