This week a 10- to 11-month-old male hound mix named Sammy has been picked for Pet of the Week. He is very friendly and gets along with other dogs. Sammy is waiting at the Bladen County Animal for his forever family to come adopt and take him to his new home!
The cost to adopt a dog is $50 and $40 to adopt a cat which includes the animal’s first required shots. The adoption hours are Monday to Friday at noon until 5 p.m. Donations of dog food, treats, toys, and cat litter are accepted by the shelter.
