An update of road openings / closings is as follows:

OPENINGS:

SR 1505 (Jack Richardson Road)

SR 1505 (Jack Richardson Road) is open.

SR 1748 (Figure 9 Road)

SR 1748 (Figure 9 Road) is open.

NOTE: We did not close SR 1710 (Elkton Road) today as planned due to high water levels in the stream. We will reschedule this work another week.

EXISTING CLOSINGS:

SR 1336 (Owen Hill Road)

SR 1336 (Owen Hill Road) remains closed due to construction of a double line of cast in place reinforced concrete box culvert. Construction is well underway, but it will be a few weeks before work is complete.

SR 1504 (Davis Road)

SR 1504 (Davis Road) is closed in order to replace a large crossline pipe damaged during the hurricane. The location of the closure is 0.16 miles east of SR 1555 (Joyner Road). This location will open late tomorrow afternoon; however, another closure is forthcoming (see below).

SR 1511 (Sweet Home Church Road)

SR 1511 (Sweet Home Church Road) in order to replace a crossline pipe damaged during the hurricane. The location of the closure is 0.45 miles east of SR 1510 (Bladen Lakes School Road). The location should open up late tomorrow afternoon.

UPCOMING CLOSINGS:

SR 1504 (Davis Road)

Beginning Thursday morning (4/6/17), we plan to close Davis Road at a location 0.16 miles west of NC 210 in order to replace a crossline pipe damaged during the hurricane. The work should be complete by Thursday afternoon of next week.

Elwell Ferry is operating on normal schedule.
