OPENINGS:
SR 1128 (Barry Lewis Road) is open.
SR 1103 (James Pait Road) is open but will re-close on Wednesday (see below)
CLOSINGS:
SR 1101 (Marsh Road)
SR 1101 (Marsh Road) is closed at a location 1.1 miles west of NC 131 in order to replace a double crossline damaged during the hurricane. The road will remain closed through the end of the week.
SR 1303 (Tobermory Road)
SR 1303 (Tobermory Road) is closed at NC 87 due to a failed crossline pipe / void under the road. Work is scheduled to begin 7/24 and should be complete by the end of the first week in August.
UPCOMING CLOSINGS:
SR 1103 (James Pait Road)
Beginning Wednesday, July 5, we plan to close SR 1103 (James Pait Road) in order to replace the second of two crosslines. The road will be closed at a location 0.49 miles north of SR 1100 (Center Road). The road will remain closed through the end of the week.
ELWELL FERRY:
The Elwell Ferry IS operating (resumed operations at noon today).
