Spread the love

Local coffee shop, Barefoot Brew, is in the process of visiting each and every Bladen County public school, at the direction of Superintendent Dr. Jason Atkinson. Barefoot Brew has a mobile unit, known as the “Brew Wagon” that is currently visiting schools and offering faculty and staff hot and cold coffees, frappes, and smoothies with flavors of their choice, as a “Thank You” from Bladen County Schools.

Kelly Barefoot, owner and founder of Barefoot Brew, told BladenOnline, “We have 15 facilities we will be serving within the next three weeks, and make each individual their own specific beverage between 7:45 and 9:00 am.”   At this time, the Brew Wagon has served Elizabethtown Primary School, East Arcadia School, and Bladen Lakes School.

The mission to visit each school will continue in the upcoming weeks!
