Teacher Appreciation Week starts today, Monday, May 4, and will last until Friday, May 8. Some of the schools have posted ideas for students and parents to show their appreciation. 

BladenOnline.com also found some ideas. They are all listed below. 

KidsActivitiesBlog.com said, “You can’t go wrong with digital gift cards for Teacher Appreciation Week (coffee, Netflix, Hulu, DoorDash, Uber Eats, Instacart, Kindle, iTunes, Barnes and Noble, Amazon, and Target are great quarantine gifts that will be appreciated). Send teachers Tiff’s Treats or flowers. Have a yard card service set up a message in their yard, like “an awesome teacher lives here!”

Waterford.org has a list of 31 ideas for this year’s Teacher Appreciation Week. The article is titled 31 Ways to Celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week While Social Distancing. 

Local schools posted the following ideas on their social media accounts. :

Bladenboro Middle School has photos of different teachers posted showing their appreciation on Facebook.

Clarkton School of Discover

East Arcadia has posts as well showing appreciation to their teachers on Facebook.

East Bladen High School

Emereau: Bladen, Elizabethtown Primary School , and other schools across Bladen County are celebrating Teacher Appreciation Day in new ways. Don’t forget to thank the teachers!
