The Bladen County Firefighters Association is recruiting volunteer firefighters.
With the high demand of personnel the BCFA is asking people to step-up, join the ranks, and become part of something far greater than themselves. There are numerous tangible and non-tangible benefits with being a volunteer firefighter.
As a push to recruit new members the public is invited to attend the Bladen County Firefighters Association monthly meeting on Thursday, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. at Lisbon Fire Department located at 2585 White Plains Church Road Council.
Come out and enjoy a meal, see what the fire service looks like, fellowship, learn something new, and fill out an interest card which in turn will put you in contact with a fire department chief.
The Bladen County Firefighters Association is actively recruiting firefighters of all ages, including Junior Firefighters starting at age 14.
