More effort is being made for the Bladen County Board of County Commissioners to be recognized. In a past board meeting, Commissioner Michael Cogdell suggested the Board of County Commissioners’ photos and names be framed and mounted in all county-owned facilities.
Monday, June 5th, Greg Martin, Bladen County Manager provided an update regarding the potential project to display photos of the Board of County Commissioners in county-owned facilities. The first time investment will be about $1,400 with an additional $700 investment every two years as new commissioners are elected according to the update.
After the update was given, Cogdell made the motion to have the project to display photos of the Commissioners in every county-owned facility. Commissioner Arthur Bullock made the second and with Commissioners Russell Priest, Ray Britt and Dr. Ophelia Munn-Goins voting in favor of the project, the motion passed.
