Here are results from Bladen County Recreation Department youth football league games played Wednesday, Nov. 20 at Bladen County Park.
7-9 Tackle League: Hurricanes 18, Wolfpack 0
Timothy Cain ran for 2 touchdowns as the Hurricanes (pictured) completed a perfect 6-0 season and claimed the 7-9 Tackle League Football Championship with an 18-0 victory over the Wolfpack.
Cain raced 35 yards for the first Hurricane touchdown. Prince McKoy dashed 42 yards for the second Hurricane touchdown as the lead grew to 12-0. Cain broke loose again and bolted 40 yards for his second touchdown.
10-12 Tackle League: Crimson Tide 25, Bears 6
Keyshawn Kemp ran for over 150 yards and scored 3 touchdowns to lead the Crimson Tide to a 25-6 victory over the Bears in 10-12 Tackle Football League action.
Torrean Cogdell darted 12 yards around left end for the first Crimson Tide touchdown. Kemp dashed 44 yards for his first touchdown that padded the lead to 12-0.
On his first carry of the second half Kemp galloped 70 yards around right end to boost the lead to 18-0. Kemp raced 32 yard for his final touchdown. Quarterback Claxton Tatum ran the conversion to push the lead to 25-0.
Samaj McRae sprinted 24 yards for the Bears touchdown.
The Crimson Tide finished their season with a 3-3 record.Share:
