The Bladen County Solid Waste Transfer Station will undergo floor repairs beginning at noon on Wednesday, August 2 and continuing through Friday, August 4. No waste will be accepted while repairs are being made.
For the remainder of August, the Transfer Station will be operating at half capacity. It’s hoped the Transfer Station will resume normal operations following the Labor Day holiday, but that is subject to change
All business or commercial entities are asked to make other arrangements for waste disposal during this time.
All convenience sites will be operating on normal schedules, 7 a.m. until 7 p.m., while repair work is being done at the Transfer Station.
