CLINTON – Junior Julian Najera knocked in a ‘Hat Trick’ of 3 goals and added 1 assist to lead Clinton to a 9-0 Southeastern Athletic Conference boys’ soccer victory over West Bladen Wednesday night.

Seniors Walker Spell and Jonathan Gutierrez fired in 2 goals each for the Dark Horses who built a 7-0 halftime lead. Walker Spell and sophomore Holden Spell dished out 2 assists each.

Seniors Daniel Gustafson and Shaun “Walker” Barkley led the Knight defense with 4 steals each. Junior Cade Allen was credited with 5 saves in goal for West, and senior Oswaldo Gonzalez-Lopez had 2 saves.

The Knights, now 0-5 in league play and 4-14 overall, will host Midway Monday night.
