“President Trump’s choice of Mike Pompeo as Secretary of State will provide him a very clear assessment of prevailing threats and a constructive analysis of how to secure the United States. Mike Pompeo is an exceptionally bright individual who will effectively articulate America’s positions while engaging our allies to join us.”
Congressman Pittenger and Director Pompeo worked together in Congress on national security legislation to defeat radical Islamic terrorists. More recently, Congressman Pittenger has sought Director Pompeo’s input on legislation to block the strategic Chinese acquisition of sensitive technology and data that threaten America’s national security.
