Yesterday’s high temp in our area was 71 degrees … It was a chilly 71, mainly due to a stiff breeze from time to time…
Overnight low was forecast to be in the upper 40s. Wednesday, increasing clouds with a high near 79 and windy, gusts as high as 17 mph. Tonight, a slight chance of showers before 8 p.m. Partly cloudy with a low around 54.
Sunny, Thursday, with a high near 76. Same type weather for the next few days … Highs will increase to low to mid 80s beginning Saturday and continue thru Tuesday…
Had an occasion recently to drive to and from Wilmington … Repairs continue on the bridge over the river entering the city … Not bad, but I hope repairs will be completed before making the trip again.
The reason for the trip was a doctor appointment, a follow-up on surgery several years ago … just to make sure nothing ‘bad’ had returned … A clean bill of health…
