CHARLOTTE – Congressman Robert Pittenger (NC-09) issued this statement regarding President Trump’s decision to launch military strikes against Syria:
“President Trump and our allies have demonstrated that we will not back down to the ominous threat of Iran, Russia, their proxy Bashar al-Assad, and the associated grievous human atrocities. We must continue to stand up for American values at home and abroad. Under President Trump, the message is clear: if you cross the red line, the consequences will be swift and severe.”
Congressman Pittenger serves as Chairman of the Congressional Task Force on Terrorism and Vice Chairman of the Financial Services Subcommittee on Terrorism and Illicit Finance.
