LOUISVILLE, Ky – West Bladen grad Conner Brisson has been named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar list for the 3rd consecutive season along with 4 of her UNC-Pembroke softball teammates.
Brisson has now earned the prestigious recognition for the third consecutive season, while Mackenzie Collins and Kaci Roberson are both two-time honorees. Chloe Hunsinger and Abby Riddle also earned the recognition for the first time.
The announcement marks the 12th time in program history that the program has had multiple student-athletes recognized for their academic achievement. The UNCP team eanred the NFCA All-America Scholar Team award with a 3.12 GPA.
To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must have a 3.5 grade point average and be nominated by their coaching staff.
