East Bladen defensive lineman Chris Cromartie and defensive back Kyle Tatum have been named to the Wilmington Star-News All-Area Team.
Cromartie was named to the All-Area First Team. The 6-4, 245 lb. senior was credited with 81 tackles and 5.5 sacks, blocked a punt against St. Pauls and recovered it in the end zone for a touchdown. Cromartie was also an All-Four County Conference selection.
Junior Kyle Tatum was a Second Team All-Area selection. The 185-lb. junior made 39 tackles and had 2 pass interceptions – one of which he returned 50 yards for a touchdown against St. Pauls. Tatum also recovered a pair of on-side kicks. Offensively Tatum rushed for 760 yards and 11 touchdownsShare:
