East Bladen’s Ethan Hines has been named to the Fayetteville Observer’s All-Region Second Team as a return specialist.
Hines returned 4 kick-offs and one punt for touchdowns. In the season finale against Southwest Edgecombe he returned the opening kick-off 84 yards for a touchdown.
The 175-lb. speedster’s other kick-off return touchdowns were against Wallace-Rose Hill, Clinton and St Pauls. Hines also rushed for 760 yards and 9 touchdowns from scrimmage and returned a punt 82 yards for a touchdown against Whiteville.
