East Bladen’s Lady Eagles dominated the All-Three Rivers Conference girls soccer selections with Ashley Hardin being named the league’s Player of the Year, Coach Jay Raynor honored as Coach of the Year and four more Lady Eagles receiving first team All-TRC honors.

Hardin, a junior, only played in 11 matches before she was sidelined by an injury. In those 11 games, she scored 12 goals, dished out 23 assists and racked up 162 steals.

Raynor directed the Lady Eagles to a perfect 14-0 record in Three Rivers Conference play and an 18-1 overall record. East Bladen outscored their opponents by a 93-13 margin – 78-2 in Three Rivers Conference play.

Other first team Lady Eagle All-Conference picks included senior Hannah Devane, junior Ting Lin, sophmore Patience Ward and junior Sarah Johnson. West Bladen’s Glorimar Cruz-Pagon was also chosen to the All-Conference team.

Devane poured in a team-high 24 goals, a team-high 29 assists and 181 steals. Ward scored 15 goals and was credited with 11 assists and 163 steals.

Lin recorded 13 shutouts in goal for East Bladen and racked up 18 saves. Johnson led a Lady Eagle defense that allowed only 39 shots on goal in 19 games. Johnson also racked up 142 steals.

Cruz-Pagon was the Lady Knights team captain. The senior helped anchor the West Bladen defense.

Receiving honorable mention from East Bladen were sophmores Cybil Campbell, Gracyn Martin and Izzy Smith and freshmen Katie Evans, Kenia Medina and Sara Gargala.

West Bladen senior Melennie Hernandez and sophmore Claudia Reyes also received honorable mention.
