East Bladen head football Coach Robby Priest has been named as an assistant coach for the North Carolina team in this year’s Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas.

The game will be played on Dec. 16 at Gibbs Stadium on the Wofford College campus in Spartanburg, SC. This year’s game will be the 81st annual meeting between the all-star teams from North Carolina and South Carolina.

Priest has been the Eagle head coach for the past 5 seasons and has posted a record of 48-18. This year’s team made it to the third round of the NCHSAA Class 2A Play-offs before dropping a narrow 42-41 victory to South Columbus.
