The town of Elizabethtown announced several promotions during their noon work session. A promotion ceremony is scheduled to take place at 7 p.m. at the Elizabethtown Municipal Building.
Mayor Sylvia Campbell announced Pat DeVane has been promoted to Assistant Town Manager. Prior to that, DeVane has served as the town’s Public Works Director since 2008.
“He’s done an amazing job. It’s a title he well deserves,” said Mayor Campbell.
“I appreciate the opportunity,” said DeVane.
Mayor Campbell announced Hugh Bedsole will be promoted to Public Works Director.
“We know he will do an amazing job as well,” said Mayor Campbell.
She added Don Edwards will be promoted to the position of Utilities Supervisor.
