A fire danger statement has been issued for Bladen County from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. today, according to the National Weather Service.
A combination of low fuel moistures, low relative humidity, and afternoon gusts up to 25 mph will lead to increase fire danger across southeastern North Carolina on Tuesday afternoon, a NWS alert reads.
There is not a burn ban for Bladen County, but anyone burning outdoors Tuesday is advised to use extreme caution.
