COOPERSTOWN, NY – Elizabethtown’s Freddy Wooten blasted 2 home runs Sunday as his Rock Solid Athletics Red team won two games in the Cooperstown Field of Dreams Tournament at Cooperstown Dreams Park.
Sunday morning Wooten walloped a 2-run home run in Rock Solid Red’s 5-2 victory over Van Horn Venom from Massachusetts. Wooten also cracked a single to finish 2-3 at the plate.
Sunday afternoon Wooten slugged one of Rock Solid Red’s 6 home runs in a 17-2 victory over Pappi’s Pride from Maine. Freddy also belted a single and walked to finish 2-2 at the plate.
Rock Solid Red which is based out of Wilmington will battle the Riverside Royals from Canada at 8:30 a.m. Monday in a battle of unbeaten teams. At 4:30 p.m. Monday Rock Solid Red will play the Jaguars from Wisconsin.
