Tar Heel Baptist Church is sponsoring a fundraiser for Fernando and Sandy Arrufat, of White Oak, whose home was flooded during Hurricane Florence on Saturday, January 5, 2019. The fundraiser will include a steak dinner and a chance to win prizes. The fundraiser costs $50 per person and will be be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Tar Heel Fire Department.

Mr. and Mrs. Arrufat were away from home and serving on a mission in Puerto Rico working to assist with repairs to homes damaged by Hurricane Maria. While they were in Puerto Rico, their home here was damaged by Hurricane Florence. The expense to repair the home is overwhelming.

All proceeds from the benefit will go to Mr. and Mrs. Arrufat to assist with the expenses of repairing their home.
