On Sunday, December 31st, Cape Fear Vineyard & Winery, in collaboration with Jennifer Potter Events, is set to host a Midnight Masquerade New Year’s Eve Ball, ensuring the final moments of 2023 are filled with excitement and entertainment, all towards a good cause.

This fun-filled masquerade will be located at Cape Fear Vineyard & Winery, beginning at 7 pm on December 31st and ending at 1 am on January 1st. The hosts would like everyone to embrace the masquerade theme and come in their best semi-formal clothing and creative eye masks, as there will be a costume competition with categories for both male and female party-goers. The costume competition winners will receive a winery gift basket or a gift card. Also, at this event, there will be a cash bar with all-you-can-drink wristbands, live musical performances, and a DJ to guarantee the revelry goes on throughout the night.

If games, drinks, and music are not your forte, but you have a taste for exquisite cuisine, the Midnight Masquerade Ball has you covered. At 7:30 pm, many food stations will be available to all who attend. The food stations are nothing short of amazing, with shrimp & grits, meat craving, and pasta, just to name a few. As the night goes on, a breakfast buffet will also become available after midnight, but before that, there will be a signature cocktail and champagne toast at the turn into 2024.

Here at Bladen Online, we spoke with Jennifer Potter, one of the event organizers, and asked her what sparked the idea of this Midnight Masquerade New Year’s Eve Ball; she said that the Cape Fear Vineyard & Winery contacted her, stating that they “wanted to do an adult-type prom event” as she does for the kids in the community. Additionally, the Cape Fear Vineyard & Winery entrusted Mrs. Potter to choose the beneficiary of the proceeds, and she chose the Bladen Community College Foundation. This event will allow people to have a great time and make a positive impact by giving back to the community.

Bladen Community College and a couple of other businesses are also helping out by providing their services as items in the silent auction that will take place at The Midnight Masquerade Ball as well. So, upon arriving, be prepared to bid on desired items and experiences.

The hosts went the extra mile to increase excitement and luxury by arranging a limo/party bus to ensure fashionable transportation to and from the ball. The cost for this stylish transportation is 20 dollars per person. If you are interested in utilizing the limo/party bus services, contact the Cape Fear Vineyard & Winery at 910-645-4291.

If you would like to ring in this new year with friends, family, entertainment, luxuriousness, and community spirit, the Midnight Masquerade New Year’s Eve Ball, located at 195 Vineyard Drive, Elizabethtown, NC, is where you will want to be.
