The winning team of the June 15 Thundering Herd at Vineyard Golf, with a score of 6-under par, was Colby Lewis, Ebbie Clark, Jim Hancock and Pam Davis Taylor. The Thundering Herd is played every Thursday at 6 p.m. The cost to play is $20 for guests and $18 for members. Anyone interested in playing is ask to call the pro shop at 910-247-6132 before 5:30 p.m. for a 6 p.m. tee time.
The has been lots of activity this month at Vineyard Golf. Two tournaments, Tossups three days a week, Thundering Herd every Thursday. If your group or organization is interested in putting on a golf tournament call the pro shop. A golf tournament at Vineyard is a great way to raise funds. The staff at Vineyard Golf is very adept at putting on tournaments. The course is in great shape with the greens running at approximately 11.
